Dear ms Patel and ms Walski,

Thank you very much for this term in art I feel like I have a much better understanding of what it means to be an artist. The project I did this term have helped me with other aspects other than art. I feel like know how to continue working on something even if it is hard. the projects I did this term the photos then the crest have taken a lot because I dont have a naturally artistic brain but I feel I am better at that now. I also know the basics of how to use a camera and thats a skill I will continue using for the rest of my life, so are the basics of graphic design so in short thank you very much for continuing to push and support me this term.

my project is not fully developed my idea was to make a cross out of my family crest but that is to literal so what I think I am going to make designs inside the crest so i What I am currently putting in the crest is the cross in the middle with the lacrosse stick on the bottom and the people on ether side I am currently adding the celtics and the bruins logos and trying to think 0f ways to make it more personal and more creative.

I sounded the most confident in my presentation when I was talking about my ideas for next week. Something that I have to think about more is how I am going to make my project more original and make it more interesting. The project I am working in now is 3d printing my family crest and this is what it looks like now(see below). Moving forward I want to work more with photo shop seeing he high exposure photos was really cool and I want to try that and use photo shop to make them better. I will start by figuring how to use the camera to do that and find something interesting to do like light painting and making a picture with that. I would like to finish the project I am working on currently by the end of the week. Trevor Williams is a really interesting photographer who’s work I really enjoy I hope to emulate some of his work

my theme is infrastructure it is what we need as a society to function fully and to be happy and healthy. I was looking for photos of things need like emergency services i found a fire station I also was looking for things like gas stations which i found I also found stores and banks which we need to function.

This artists name is harry gruaert he is a artist who takes photos of machines and public places I can connect to his work because my theme is industry and we have a similar kind of objective we are slightly different because is photos are more set up and thats something i want to take he is very good at staging photos and he goes to . lot of different places around the world which is something i want to take as well i want to move a little more out of the bubble.

This artists name is Ian barry he does kind of the same thing except he focus more on the people more than the material things which is an interesting thing that I wouldn’t have thought about that we need people to function one person couldn’t hold up everything we’ve built so he focus on that which i would like to use a little

I learned about polaroids and hot to set up photos my plans fro next week are to get better at developing photos and the dark room my take aways are that photography is really fun and want to do more

my theme modernity it is interesting because it has very clear line between the buildings and the sky. I chose it because it is very aseptically pleasing and the contrasts are cool.
